The building will consist of 11 floors above ground and 4 floors underground, and the total cost required for the project is estimated at 73.5 billion KRW.

The details of the conditional approval include ▲ Establishing a debt management plan ▲ Modifying the mid-term local financial plan ▲ Public naming contest, among others. The city of Busan plans to faithfully implement these conditions to ensure the smooth progress of the project.

Busan Women Plaza is set to transform into a cultural platform for citizens, allowing various generations to mingle together, going beyond merely being a women-only space.

The upper floors (6-11th floors) will significantly enhance existing women's education and support for entrepreneurship and employment. The middle section will include a municipal child psychology treatment room and a children’s complex cultural space called 'Deullaknalak', as well as exhibition and performance spaces.

Additionally, the 1st and 2nd floors will provide resident convenience facilities and customized educational spaces, enabling local residents to utilize an open space for sharing culture and knowledge. Busan plans to begin the design competition in 2026, start the construction in 2027, and complete the construction by 2029. The new facility is scheduled to open in 2030.

During the construction period, to minimize inconvenience for citizens, the functions of the Busan Women Center will be temporarily transferred and operated.

After opening, various programs reflecting citizens' opinions will be solicited and operated. Furthermore, the name will be officially determined through public participation.
